Season One Summary

Heartland Meets Friday Night Lights
The Rich Kid Rules combines the best of two beloved series: Heartland's uplifting warmth, family values, and respect for tradition, plus Friday Night Lights' emotional depth and authentic parallel storylines between richly developed teen and adult characters facing real consequences.
Different Worlds—Same Rules
The Rich Kid Rules aren't political. They are the timeless lessons burned into kids on Hollywood sets and Wyoming cattle ranches alike. Show up late while 100 cast and crew wait? You'll never work for that producer again. Too sick to ride on a cattle roundup? You'd better be dead.
Most kids don't learn these rules anymore. This show brings them back—not through lectures or memorization, but through Sandy and Frankie, who learn them the hard way: mucking stalls, in dance studios, in riding arenas, and in a crime lord's living room.
